About our Team

The Barnsley Town Centre Races are organised by Barnsley Road Club. 

 

Founded in 1924, the club was established to promote cycling in the Barnsley area and now covers most aspects of cycle sport, with members regularly participating in time-trialling, road racing and reliability rides.

The club also run weekly social club rides, every Sunday throughout the year, as well as weekly 10 mile time trials during the summer months.
